Marketing on a Low Budget - Part 2: Creating a Growth Plan

As a continuation from our previous conversation, we talk with Khalil to build onto our marketing foundation and create a growth plan. In this episode, we go over the main steps to building a strong growth plan that will move your company forward, with a purpose and a sense of direction. “If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll wind up somewhere else.”
Step 1- Determine your priorities. Know what you are good at and craft a growth plan that focuses your strengths as a business.
Step 2- Create Sales Goals. Create an annual sales goal that is going to push your company, yet feasible to achieve to motivate you and your employees. Create quarterly goals that has attainable steps that will ensure quick wins.
Step 3- Track the metrics that matter. Metrics that matter are the components that make up your sales funnel. Start identifying your funnel and tracking your layers. For example, if for every 50 prospects you get 25 leads, that is a metric that you can track and possibly target to improve. With metrics, we can have data to help plan our decisions.
